Your first week

Monday 16 September 2024 marks the start of the University’s online Welcome programme.

Details of online activities can be found within the main University Welcome events pages.

Your first day of the International Foundation Programme course is Monday 16 September 2024. This marks the start of your Programme-specific Induction, where you’ll be welcomed to the programme by Professor Elly Cartwright, the Academic Lead for our pre-medical and pre-dental programmes.

The majority of the events during this week will take place face-to-face on the University campus with your course co-directors and tutors.

The International Foundation Programme is taught within the School of Medical Sciences in partnership with Xaverian College. You will get an opportunity to visit Xaverian College during the course Welcome week (week commencing Monday 16 September).
